After graduating from ITU (2005) and completing a Master’s in Architectural Design at Bilgi University (2007), she worked at various practices in Berlin and Istanbul. In 2010, she joined EAA-Emre Arolat Architects, contributing to key projects like the Sancaklar Mosque. She have curated biennials and exhibitions, and spoken at local and international panels. In 2013, she co-founded the spatial art initiative Yoğunluk, showcasing the work “The House” at the 15th Istanbul Biennial. She has been leading architectural design studios since 2014 and earned her PhD from ITU in 2024 with a dissertation on space ontology in Sufi thought (Space in Ibn Arabi). Her academic focus centers on architectural theory, design criticism, philosophy, phenomenology, and Sufism.
